Description
The WASAN-OFS-D01 is a displacement sensor based on optical Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensing technology. The WASAN-OFS-D01 employs sliding mandrel conversion mechanism and a second temperature compensation FBG to ensure absolute and accurate displacement measurement in civil engineering.
With high-strength steel package this sensor possesses excellent mechanical properties to ensure enhanced fatigue resistance. The WASAN-OFS-D01 includes a second FBG which provides active temperature compensation, which enables absolute and accurate displacement measurement.
The WASAN-OFS-D01 employs the optical device packaging method specific to WASAN-series sensors to ensure the long-term sensing stability. The sensor possesses wide applications due to the customizable measurement range. Double ended design and low bending loss support remote measurement even if kilometers apart.
The installation of WASAN-OFS-D01 is fast and simple. The main part of the sensor is fixed on one side of the crack or fissure, the top of the slider should be in vertical contact with the other side. Armored cable makes fiber protection fast and easy during measurement.
