 Since the remarkable progress in the application of fiber optic sensing technology in China's electric power, petroleum, chemical, construction, transportation, medical and environmental protection fields, the industry and researchers still continue to explore and polish new fiber optic sensing technology and improve the depth and breadth of research in the development and practicalization of its application technology.

The Optical Fiber Sensing Conference and Industrialization Forum of China (OFSC) has been successfully held for ten years, gradually bringing together invited academic presentations from representative groups, experts and scholars, productization teams and enterprise representatives in the field of fiber optic sensing at home and abroad.

China International Fiber Optic Sensing Technology and Application Conference has been held for nine consecutive years, and has been dedicated to discussing and matching demand for fiber optic sensing technology in petrochemical, smart grid, civil engineering, emergency security, rail transportation, underwater sensing and other application fields.

As the two largest conferences in the field of fiber optic sensing in China, in order to meet the desire of researchers and practitioners for faster and more urgent information exchange in academia and industry, the two conferences are integrated together to create a more comprehensive, efficient and authoritative communication platform - "2021 China Fiber Optic Sensing Conference".

The purpose of the "2022 China Fiber Optic Sensing Conference" is threefold.
